Arménio Barbosa participated in the 24th Edition of EuroQsar to present his work about “Molecular Modelling in Biotechnology: Design and Discovery of Small Molecule Adsorbents”.

Last week, Professor Cecília, Carolina and Catarina (Biomeng Lab) and Alexander (BOKU University) participated in the BPP Conference in Luxembourg.All of them are part of the PURE Project and their participation in conferences is crucial to disseminating the project. Well done PURE team! 👏

Cecília Roque and Inês Padrão attended the European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB) in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Both presented a poster and flash presentation under the scope of #PROTEIOS_project and #PURE_project. 

Carlos attended the Bioexcel Summer School at Sardinia, Italy.This summer school allows students to acquire through a combination of lecturers and tutorial sessions knowledge relating to biomolecular modelling and simulations using modern applications and tools.We hope Carlos had a great time learning more! 😊

The 4th edition of Biophysics Festival, a meeting of young biophyscists took place at Covilhã and our biomengs (Carlos, Inês, Arménio, Cátia and Jéssica) couldn’t miss the opportunity to attend it.Arménio, Cátia and Jéssica represented our team presenting posters whereas Carlos gave a lecture about “Novel affinity reagent for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein”.Congrats to all!🎉
