In this week, we attend at #SupraLife First School – Functional Supramolecular Polymeric Biomaterials and Carina Esteves shared her work about ionic liquids materials in a poster presentation. #Ensure_Project #SCENT_project
We have a freshly published paper in Applied Physics Reviews. In this work, the authors explore “Textural landscapes of VOC-sensitive chiral liquid crystal-based materials”. This work was developed under the scope of #SCENT_project and # ENSURE_project. Congratulations to the authors! For more info: check the QR Code or doi: 10.1063/5.0136551
Our researcher Cátia Soares just started her PhD in Biotechnology! She holds a Bachelor in Biochemistry and a Master in Biotechnology both from @fctnova . She believes that her research will contribute to implement protein-based materials as sustainable and functional bio-based materials. We wish you all the luck! #PROTEIOS_project
Arménio Barbosa won an advanced computing project BioM2D (BioMaterials Molecular Dynamics) from RNCA, Fundação para Ciência e a Tecnologia, INCD (2022.15912.CPCA). The project will study the assembly and molecular interactions of biomaterials for biopharmaceutical purification, on the Portuguese HPC infrastructure. Congratulations!
Margarida Dias won a research fund grant (R22-1009764370) from Royal Society of Chemistry for “OPTIM – Aqueous spinning of peptide-rich optical fiber mats”. Congratulations!
Last week, our master students in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine, Catarina Faustino and Madalena Garcia, presented the thesis work developed so far at JIM 2023: Jornadas Intercalares de Mestrados. Congratulations for both presentations!
#PURE_project is developing novel purification adsorbents designed to make the purification of biological drugs more sustainable and cost-effective. Curious? See more on our Leaflet or website.
Welcome to the team!Susana Fernandes is a Master Student in Biomedical Engineering at NOVA School of Science and Technology . She will be working on her master thesis entitled “Non-Invasive urologic tumours monitoring with an e-nose: time series analysis and machine learning algorithms for odour signal processing” under the scope of the #ENSURE_project.We wish you …
