3rd Annual Meeting – PURE Project

The 3rd Annual Meeting of the #Pure_Project was held in BOKU, Vienna between 27th and 28th September. This exciting opportunity allowed the team to meet , discuss and plan the final year of the project! Many thanks to BOKU team for the organization and hospitality! 

European Researchers’ Night 2023

On september 29th we attended the european researchers’ night at the national Museum of Natural History and Science, in Lisbon. New Paper

Excited to share fantastic news! We have a freshly published paper in Frontiersin Chemistry. In this work, the authors explore “Hierarchical self-assembly of a reflectin-derived peptide”. New Master Student

Welcome to the team! Jéssica Rodrigues is a Master Student in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at NOVA School of Science and Technology . She will be working on her master thesis entitled “Computational Modeling of Biopharmaceuticals Purification Systems”.We wish you good luck!

Summer School 2023 – Dresden

Cecília Roque made a lecture entitled “Protein-Based Materials: Bioinspired Systems for unsual applications” at Biological Making of Materials: Summer School 2023 (11-15th September) organized by DIGS-BB. Cátia Soares, a PhD student in our lab participated in the summer school. It was a great opportunity to met experts and other young scientists in the Biomaterials field.

Younger Investigator Award – Gonçalo Teixeira
